Our steel non-vented pull pins are manufactured from 1144 carbon steel. They are then heat-treated. These pins meet material specification ASME B18.8.2. They have a double shear breaking strength and Rockwell Hardness of C47. Use non-vented pins in any application that does not require air relief.
