Our Black Oxide dowel pins are steel dowel pins with a Black Oxide coating. Black Oxide helps prevent against rust and decreases friction. This causes smoother functionality and less wear and tear, extending the service life of moving parts. Black Oxide coating also prevents galling and will not crack easily.
These dowel pins are manufactured to specification ASME B18.8.2.
